2024 Week 3 Wrap and Week 4 Preview

Check out our updated 2024 NFL model here! Of 49 models tracked here, ours was the fourth best last week and ninth best overall. Remember that our model relies on Vegas data and doesn’t directly ingest game data. This is why you may see surprising results like Washington and Buffalo dropping even after their dominant performances. The model’s accuracy speaks for itself…

First, lets look at the power rankings.

The biggest risers were New Orleans and Pittsburgh who both continue to win despite their low expectations heading into the season. The two teams who fell the most were Miami and Minnesota. Miami continues to miss Tua Tagavoiloa. While Minnesota comfortably handled the Texans, the future looks bleak according to the betting lines and our model.

At the top of the rankings, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Dallas saw their rankings increase at the expense of the Bengals faltering yet again on Monday night. Now lets look at how the championship odds have changed

The most noteworthy trend is Kansas City’s improved championship odds, largely at the expense of San Francisco. Detroit, Baltimore, and Philly both grabbed a slightly larger piece of the pie this week.
