Perhaps the first thing I notice with AJ Brown’s four factors analysis is his trend score. AJ Brown has been good his entire career. An 8/10 trend score would indicate that he is still getting much better.

However, this strong trend score is more a factor of Brown’s 2021 season being a down year than him actually improving. His 2022 season was nearly identical to his 2020 season, so saying he is getting better may be misleading.

On the other hand, because of his down 2021 season, the 8/10 pedigree score given to AJ Brown might actually be underrating his past accomplishments! Either way, the trend and pedigree scores compliment each other nicely when leading to Brown 9.5/10 consensus ranking score.

Even better for the AJ Brown fans out there, he earns a 5/10 in the consistency category. Not elite, but certainly not bad. It is good enough to not even be a consideration when drafting AJ Brown.

AJ Brown Stats Analysis

Myself and everyone else largely expects “more of the same” from AJ Brown this year. Jalen Hurts loves to throw the ball and is excellent at finding his guys. Luckily for AJ Brown and Devonta Smith, the WR depth behind them is pretty poor.

AJ Brown’s consensus rating is well earned looking at the entirety of his player profile, especially his 8/10 trend and 8/10 pedigree scores.
