Anthony Richardson Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors

Anthony Richardson is unfortunately coming into one of the weirdest situations in the NFL. The Colts are undoubtedly in a tough, weird spot, not the least of which is that their star running back has been making noise about being unhappy in his current setting.

This is not necessarily where you want your extremely raw rookie quarterback to be.

For all rookies, like Bijan Robinson for example, our four factors method can’t compute a trend score or a consistency score. There just isn’t the data to do it.

For Anthony Richardson, though, even going back to college we wouldn’t have enough data to compute these scores. The guy is really raw and really hasn’t had much time to get to the point we would expect an early first round pick to be at.

The Colts selected Anthony Richardson at #4 overall. This is a pretty good pedigree, but being the third quarterback taken off the board makes it a little less impressive. Anthony Richardson gets a pretty respectable 6.5/10 pedigree score.

Anthony Richardson earned a little lower consensus score. The experts have spoken and we see Richardson getting a 3/10 consensus score. This doesn’t necessarily meant that the experts don’t think he’ll be good ever, it just means that he might not be that good yet. Especially on the Colts.

Anthony Richardson Stats Analysis

Anthony Richardson really profiles as either an elite, game-breaking quarterback or a guy who fizzles out in the next few years. His official draft profile from the NFL describes as having elite athletic ability. He has a cannon for an arm and can run better than most in recent memory.

The weakness they identify for Anthony Richardson are things that a QB must learn. Decision making, footwork, etc. If you’re drafting Anthony Richardson this year, you’re drafting the potential of a late season league-winner. It might be a good idea to grab someone else to man the ship while Richardson gets acclimated.
