Rachaad White Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors

Rachaad White enters his sophomore campaign with a pretty hefty bout of momentum. I have no doubt that the workload he earned at the end of 2022 will carry into at least the first half of 2023.

In his first few games, you could tell Rachaad White was figuring out the NFL and the team was figuring him out too. But once week 10 hit, Rachaad White got the nod from the coaching staff. His carries basically doubled. More importantly, he got a ton of receiving work. This all culminates in a 9.5/10 trend score.

On the other hand, Rachaad White was very inconsistent. He put up tons of performances in the 0-5 point range. He failed to get a crazy amount of snaps. This all leads to a very inconsistent and risky fantasy player.

Finally, Rachaad White’s pedigree score is only a 2.5/10. To start, Rachaad didn’t have very significant draft capital backing up the start to his career. And, because he only had the lead role for a short portion of the year, his season-long stats are fairly mediocre.

The consensus rankings for Rachaad White are around 5.5/10. This consensus ranking clearly takes into account Rachaad White’s huge trend score and his improvement throughout the year. However, we can’t totally ignore the other of his four factors.

Rachaad White Stats Analysis

I think the Buccaneers offensive struggles are way overblown this year. They have a very talented receiving corps in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Baker Mayfield is far from the worst QB in the league, he likely will be better than the Bucs QB play last year. This gives Rachaad White some opportunities for growth.

Another factor in White’s favor is his lack of TDs last year. He only had 3 all season. He is likely due for some positive regression which will bring his fantasy performance up  quite a bit. Of course, there’s always a chance he doesn’t positively regress and that he is actually not capable of getting a lot of TDs.
