Saquon Barkley Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors

Most experts have Saquon Barkley as either their fourth or fifth best running back. For a premium position, this results in a 9/10 consensus ranking.

Saquon Barkley has also earned a 7.5/10 pedigree score due to his past success. This very strong score is because Saquon was able to pull off a top 6 RB season last year. His performance last year slotted in nicely as “the last of the elite running backs” as there was a fairly significant drop off from him to Jamaal Williams.  If not for his lackluster 2021 season, his pedigree would be even better.

One of Saquon’s biggest selling points is his trend score. Saquon’s 2021 campaign was very forgettable and even downright disappointing for those who spent high draft capital on him. However, 2022 was a nice bounce-back year. This is reflected in Saquon having a 7/5/10 or 75th percentile trend amongst the top 150 fantasy players.

Lastly, Saquon has had an above-average consistency with a score of 6/10. A large portion of this is due to Saquon’s opportunities – he is on the field for a lot of his team’s snaps. But more of this is due to Saquon putting out very consistent numbers last year.

Saquon Barkley Stats Analysis

Saquon Barkley has a very strong 9/10 scores in consensus and nearly as strong 7.5/10 in pedigree. These rankings mean he has produced in the past and is expected to do the same this year. His trend is well above average and his consistency is very good leading to Saquon Barkley being a high quality fantasy pick in in 2023.
