Tyreek Hill fantasy analysis with four factors

Tyreek Hill Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors

Tyreek Hill really shines in the two most important of our four factors – consensus and pedigree. In both these categories, Tyreek earns a top tier 9.5/10 score. These numbers reflect that (a) Tyreek Hill has been elite over the past two seasons and (b) is expected to be elite this year too.

Last year, there was perhaps a bit of uncertainty as Tyreek moved from the diesel-powered Chiefs offense to the slightly more tempered Dolphins. However, him and Jaylen Waddle were able to overcome any fears and turn out one of the best two seasons by teammates in memory.

Even with moving from the Chiefs to the Dolphins and with Tua going down early in the season, Tyreek’s production was able to stay fairly consistent. This has earned him a respectable 4.5/10 trend score. The only question is if his age begins to catch up with him – my best is on no, not yet.

Finally, Tyreek has been fairly consistent. He plays lots of snaps and scores lots of points. He doesn’t have as large of a boom or bust profile as you would expect from a speedy receiver. This has earned him a 6.5/10 consistency score.

Tyreek Hill Stats Analysis

Drafting Tyreek Hill this year requires making two choices. First, you need to choose between Tyreek Hill and the nearly identical (from every perspective) Cooper Kupp. Historically Kupp has had slightly greater performance but has slightly more question marks. Both earn 9.5/10 in both consensus and pedigree so the choice is tough.

Second, you must decide if Tyreek’s higher price tag than Waddle is worth it. It is entirely likely that the younger Waddle continues to make strides forward and overtakes Tyreek Hill as the WR1 for the Dolphins this year.
