Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors

Last year was an important year for Jaylen Waddle. Everyone was interested to see if he made the necessary jump that you expect from a second year receiver. And, he did. Last year Jaylen Waddle finished as the WR8. This, combined with his still “pretty good” rookie season combine for an 8/10 pedigree score.

The rest of Jaylen Waddle’s report card is pretty good too. Waddle has earned an above average 7/10 consistency score. This reflects his ability to stay on the field for a high percentage of offensive snaps and his consistent output from week to week.

Jaylen Waddle also has a 6/10 trend score indicating that he has gotten better as time has gone on.

Finally, Jaylen Waddle earns an 8.5/10 consensus score. When looking at consensus scores, I like to look first at pedigree and then at trend. If the trend is good, then I am OK with the consensus being pedigree. For Waddle this is the case. Overall, I think his four factors analysis is indicative of a really good player.

The biggest question for Waddle last year was how much would be left for Waddle after Tyreek Hill got his. The answer was A TON, apparently. A lot of that is a testament to how good Waddle was and is.

The biggest question for Waddle this year is if Tua is able to stay healthy the whole season. Mike White has proven himself a serviceable backup, but the #2 receiver on a team with a backup QB is not an exciting play. So, a bet on Waddle also requires a bet on Tua’s health.
