Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Fantasy Football Four Factors
Last season, Rhamondre Stevenson had an absolute breakout campaign. He won the 1-on-1 battle with Damien Harris to own the Patriots backfield and now the latter is on a different team. The electric play of Stevenson along with the departure of his running mate leads to an 8.5/10 consensus ranking for Rhamondre Stevenson.
His pedigree score is way back at 5.5/10. Though Rhamondre finished as a top RB last year, his 2021 campaign was unimpressive. The difference between the pedigree scores and the consensus rankings means we have to ask ourselves whether 2021 was the outlier or 2022 was.
The 10/10 trend score for Stevenson echoes how strong of an improvement he has made from the beginning of 2021 to 2022. Only 4 players got 10/10 trend scores so no player has improved as much as Rhamondre Stevenson has.
On the other hand, because of his late blooming and history of not performing, Rhamondre Stevenson has a 1/10 consistency score. My personal opinion is that this score is a red herring and was influenced overwhelmingly by the split backfield. Though, there is always the chance that somebody else comes in, fills the Damien Harris role, and leads to Stevenson being an inconsistent player yet again.

There can’t possibly be two more similar players going into the 2023 fantasy football season than Rhamondre Stevenson and Travis Etienne. Both electric playmakers that took over the backfield from a carry hog. Both players ranking low in consistency but high in trend. Both with iffy pedigrees but top 12 consensus rankings. I can’t figure out how to decide between these two.
