Miles Sanders had the best fantasy season of his career from a volume perspective last season. He had nearly 1300 yards and a healthy number of touchdowns. He finished as a back end RB1. The year before was a bit worse as he split carries quite a bit in the Philadelphia backfield. This good season and another moderately mediocre season combine to a 6/10 pedigree score. 

The fact that Miles Sanders had a career year last season is reflected in his positive trend score. If not for him having a pretty poor end to the year last year, his trend score would likely be much higher. But he finished the season with four straight single digit performances as the touchdowns trailed off, resulting in a good but not elite 7/10 trend score.

Finally, Miles Sanders had surprisingly above average consistency. His game-to-game variance is just as high as any non-stud position player. But what helped him last year was good availability and a comparatively high snap percentage. This resulted in a 6/10 consistency score.

Carolina certainly brought in Miles Sanders for a veteran to protect their new young quarterback. Miles Sanders really improved his skills in pass protection this year, a skill that will translate to more opportunities and a higher snap percentage in Carolina. 

Miles Sanders is probably the most talented player on Carolina’s offense. So, though the offense projects to be pretty bad, if anyone is going to get the points it is Miles Sanders. Last year he had to compete with AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and most notably Jalen Hurts for touches and touchdowns.
